The group will combine feedback from our inward investment (local authorities and Scottish Government), local businesses and communities, along with data from Regional Skills Investment Plans, to shape projects that drive inclusive economic growth in the local area. This contributes to expanding Scotland’s available talent pool at all levels to give employers the skills pipeline they need to take advantage of opportunities.

Clyde Gateway Innovation offers skills support that is flexible, agile and responsive to business need - delivering strong results to meet future skills challenges.

Collaboration

Delivered collaboratively in partnership with a number of Further and Higher Education institutions, local authorities, and national business support organisations our approach puts businesses first. Our developments are focused on supporting clusters of businesses in key national growth sectors such as High Value Manufacturing, Space, or Health & Life Sciences.

Alongside businesses from a variety of industries, including hospitality and customer services, we have designed recruitment support incorporating pre-employment training programmes built around the skills requirements of businesses. This bespoke approach helps businesses find the best candidates with success rates of up to 100% reported. Support to develop employee skills continues beyond initial recruitment campaigns by facilitating access to national training programmes, in work support, upskilling and apprenticeships.
